Welcome to Vidar's Forest! I am a gydja (Norse priestess), promised to follow the Gods and Goddesses of the North and promote the upward growth of all humanity and our planet.
I am also a wife and mother, homeschooler, gardener, ballroom dance enthusiast, lover of books and learning, and a healer. While I certainly do not pretend to have all the answers, it is my hope that this blog be a resource to other Heathen and Pagan families and individuals on our path, seeking to follow the Old Ways, or Forn Sidr, as taught to me by my teacher who studied with an original line of the priesthood in Finland.
